In recent years, with the rapid development of high-throughput deep sequencing technology, many long-stranded non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been discovered in eukaryotic organisms. lncRNA is a class of non-coding RNA (ncRNA) molecules with a length greater than 200 nt, rich in biomolecular functions and conserved high-level structure. It can directly interact with proteins, microRNAs, and other molecules to regulate the expression of target genes at epigenetic, transcriptional, and post-transcriptional levels.

  • MicroRNAs (miRNAs) and long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs), two classes of endogenous noncoding RNAs, are critical regulators of gene expression in plants. Recent studies have identified the interplay between miRNAs and lncRNAs as a novel regulatory layer of gene expression in plants.
  • We help clients analyze the interaction between plant lncRNAs and miRNAs from two aspects. On the one hand, miRNAs target lncRNAs to produce phased small interfering RNAs (phasiRNAs). Plant lncRNA-mRNA Interactions Analysis

  • LncRNAs can cis-regulate mRNAs, and it is believed that the function of lncRNA is related to its neighboring protein-coding genes. Research on lncRNAs and co-expressed mRNAs could shed new light on the regulatory mechanisms of biological processes in plants.
  • We provide integrative analysis of lncRNA and mRNA expression, including identification of mRNA and lncRNA, identification of differentially expressed lncRNA-mRNA interaction pairs, construction of lncRNA-mRNA pathway network, and others. We also offer a series of experimental methods for this analysis service, such as PAR-CLIP, HITS-CLIP, CLASH, and LIGR-seq.

Plant lncRNA-DNA Interactions Analysis

  • lncRNAs can regulate the expression of close or distant genes. It is reported that the involved mechanism includes the recruitment, interaction with, and modulation of chromatin-modifying complexes.
  • We help our clients analyze the interaction between plant lncRNAs and DNA, including binding for modulating chromatin loop dynamics, binding for modulating gene transcription, and transcription of plant lncRNA for modulating DNA transcriptions.
