Metabolomics is an important part of systems biology and a rapidly developing discipline after genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics, which studies the types and quantities of endogenous metabolites in organisms and their changes under the action of internal and external factors. Plant metabolites are the expression of the physiological state of plant organisms at the metabolic level. Any perturbation of the plant body by internal or external factors such as growth and development and environmental factors will cause changes in the concentration or metabolic flow of plant metabolites, and in most cases, these changes are not in one or a few metabolites, but in multiple metabolites or even multiple metabolic pathways. Because metabolomics detects changes in metabolites as a whole, it is increasingly used in plant biology and related fields.
What We Offer
The analysis and identification of all metabolites in an acquired sample is a key step in metabolomics research and is the most difficult and variable step.
