Analysis of Plant lncRNA in Transcriptional Regulation

Transcription is the first step in gene expression and comprises three processes, initiation, elongation, and termination. Transcriptional regulation refers to the modulation of the transcriptional process. In the last years, long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have emerged as regulators of eukaryotic gene expression in various molecular mechanisms. Plant lncRNAs are usually transcribed by RNA polymerase II (Pol II) or the plant-specific RNA polymerases Pol IV and Pol V, resulting in the silencing of transcribed genes.

Lifeasible, as a leading global company, is committed to helping our customers achieve effective and successful research. We provide analysis services of plant lncRNA in transcriptional regulation, including plant lncRNA enhancer activity, regulating insulator function, transcriptional interference function, and controlling transcription factors. In addition, we deliver reliable results and reports on time to our customers worldwide.

Analysis of Plant lncRNA Enhancer Activity

  • Enhancers are classically defined as cis-acting DNA sequences that can increase the transcription of genes. In the absence of cyclization, enhancers are inactive. LncRNA has the function of promoting enhancer cyclization and activating gene expression.
  • We help clients analyze the enhancer activity of plant lncRNA, although few relevant studies are available. For their effects on gene regulation, lncRNAs act at multiple levels and with simple or complex mechanisms. We also help our customers identify the enhancer in plants.

Analysis of Plant lncRNA Regulating Insulator Function

  • However, the nature and function of plant insulators remain a mystery. It is reported that lncRNA regulates insulators and thus affects gene expression.
  • We provide analysis services for plant lncRNA that regulate insulator function. Under specific induction, lncRNA undergoes transcription that affects the binding of insulators and CTCF. In addition, we also provide three main strategies to identify the plant insulators.

Analysis of Plant lncRNA Transcriptional Interference Function

We help our customers analyze the transcriptional interference function of plant lncRNA. LncRNA's transcription interferes with the transcription of its neighboring genes that encode proteins. Upstream lncRNA transcription crosses the promoter region of neighboring target genes, interfering with the binding of transcription factors to the promoters of target genes, thereby inhibiting the transcription of target genes.

Analysis of Plant lncRNA Controlling Transcription Factors

We offer analysis services for plant lncRNA that control transcription factors. Plant lncRNAs can interact with transcription factors to regulate gene transcription. lncRNAs can recruit transcriptional regulators to the promoter regions of target genes to regulate target gene transcription.
