Detection and Analysis of Carotene

Lifeasible has rich experience and a mature detection platform in the detection and analysis of plant carotene. We provide a combination of HPLC and biochemical methods, which can quickly and accurately detect the composition and content of carotene in different plant species and different tissue parts, as well as efficient isolation and identification.

Carotene is a kind of carotenoid, which is a kind of natural pigment widely found in dark vegetables, fruits, and other plants. It is the main source of vitamin A. According to the number of double bonds, it can be divided into three categories, α-carotene, β-carotene, and γ-carotene.

What We Offer

Lifeasible has established a perfect carotene detection and analysis platform, mainly using HPLC and biochemical detection technology to provide the most professional services to customers around the world.

Category ID Name Sample requirement

Carotenoid (carotene)

1 Total carotenoid content Fresh plant materials, > 1.5g
2 α-carotene / β-carotene Fresh plant materials, > 2g
3 γ-carotene / ε-carotene Fresh plant materials, > 2g
4 Lycopene Fresh plant materials, > 2g
5 15-cis-phytoene (octahydro lycopene) Fresh plant materials, > 2g
6 Hexahydro lycopene Fresh plant materials, > 2g
Before sampling, it is necessary to set up the control group and the experimental group, and each group is suggested to repeat more than 3 times.

*Note: quick-frozen preservation with liquid nitrogen can minimize the leakage time of plant samples at room temperature.

After receiving the order, we will carry out your project as soon as possible and at the end of the project, we will provide a detailed technical report, including relevant experimental steps, relevant parameters of the experiment, original pictures, original data, and accurate and reliable experiment results.

Besides, we also have professional instruments and equipment to assist in the determination of more plant pigment indicators. Lifeasible always provides you with high-level, personalized customized services, and our mature one-stop research service platform can meet all your research needs.
