Plant Genomics
Plants are the core components of biodiversity and ecosystems on Earth. Understanding the systematic evolution and biodiversity of plants at the genome level helps to fully understand the mysteries of life in plants themselves, and is essential for plant ecosystem conservation and plant resource exploitation.

Plant genome sequencing includes both de novo sequencing and resequencing. Ab initio sequencing of plant genomes can study the growth, development, evolution, and origin of species at the genome level and play a great role in the discovery of new genes and species improvement. Plant genome resequencing is of great significance in studying the evolutionary history, environmental adaptations, and natural selection of species at the population level, and is widely used in many fields such as population genetics, plant resistance, and molecular breeding.
What We Offer
Lifeasible provides plant genomics services such as plant genome characterization, de novo sequencing of plant genomes, and resequencing of plant genomes. De novo sequencing sequences, splices, and assembles the genome of a species from scratch without relying on a reference genome to obtain a whole-genome single-base precision sequence map. After the completion of whole-genome sequence mapping, the genome database of the species can be constructed to build an efficient platform for post-genomic studies of the species and provide DNA sequence information for subsequent gene mining and functional validation.
