  • Spectroscopic techniques

We offer spectroscopic techniques that are simple, efficient, and reagent-free and have been widely used for coffee composition testing. We use inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) methods to detect trace elements in coffee samples. The use of ultraviolet (UV) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy can be applied to determine the level of caffeine and other organic compounds. By FTIP spectroscopy, we can distinguish a variety of coffees, for example, distinguish caffeinated coffee from regular coffee, etc.

  • HPLC method

The HPLC technology we offer has been widely used to determine various coffee components. For example, we use HPLC technology to selectively determine the caffeine content in coffee drinks, to determine the caffeine content efficiently and accurately in decaffeinated coffee, to detect the chlorogenic acid content in green coffee beans, and to determine the content of 16-O-methylcaffeol in coffee for the identification of coffee varieties used in coffee drinks. This technique has a wide range of applications, high separation efficiency, high detection sensitivity, fast analysis speed, easy sample recovery, and simple operation. It has been widely used in coffee composition determination.
