Plant Primary Metabolomics
Over the long evolutionary history, in response to fluctuating and even harsh survival environments, plants have evolved a myriad of functional organs and cell types, and these different types of organs and cells have in turn evolved diverse metabolic mechanisms to precisely achieve specific functions. For example, the effects of the environment, temperature, and season are compensated for by metabolic changes. As a result of abiotic and biotic stress effects, plants have derived a complex library of metabolic compounds, which include both primary metabolites necessary to sustain plant life activities and growth and development, and secondary metabolites generated using primary metabolites that are closely related to plant disease and stress resistance.
What We Offer
Lifeasible has established a metabolomics platform for plant primary metabolites using a high-resolution mass spectrometer. We can qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the dynamics of all small molecule metabolites in different ecological types, different species types, or different genotypes of plants during different growth and developmental periods or before and after certain stimuli, and find out the metabolic changes from them. In addition, we will use the appropriate sample pretreatment solution according to your experimental purpose, which significantly improves the accuracy and high quantitative number of plant metabolite identification.
Sample Requirement
- Plant tissue >3 g
*The experimental samples will not be returned, please back them up by yourself. Before sampling, it is necessary to set up the control group and the experimental group, and each group is suggested to repeat more than 3 times.
*Quick-frozen preservation with liquid nitrogen can minimize the leakage time of plant samples at room temperature.
*There is no restriction on plant varieties. For varieties with special requirements or rare varieties, please contact our staff for more information.
