Methods

  • Determination of organic carbon in samples by potassium dichromate oxidation methods.
  • Determination of organic carbon in samples by the elemental analyzer.
  • Calculation of sample organic carbon based on an organic molecular formula.
  • Determination of sample organic carbon based on sample weight (hydrocarbon meter).

Sample Requirement

  • Dried plant tissue samples, > 1g
  • Fresh plant tissue samples, > 2g (If necessary, we can provide sample drying treatment free of charge.)

The experimental samples will not be returned, please back them up by yourself. Before sampling, it is necessary to set up the control group and the experimental group, and each group is suggested to repeat more than 3 times. Quick-frozen preservation with liquid nitrogen can minimize the leakage time of plant samples at room temperature. There is no restriction on plant varieties.
