Plant Targeted Lipidomics

Lipidomics is a comprehensive and systematic analysis and identification of lipids and the molecules interacting with them in plant tissues or cells to understand the structure and function of lipids and thus reveal the relationship between lipid metabolism and the physiological and pathological processes in cells, organs, and even the organism. Based on the characteristics of high specificity, high detection sensitivity, and accurate quantification, targeted lipidomics can enrich and accurately quantify and characterize a specific lipid metabolite in plant tissues and can be combined with other experimental data to reveal the relevant molecular biological mechanisms of action. Targeted lipidomics is mainly used to validate hypotheses proposed by non-targeted lipidomics experiments and to conduct hypothesis-based exploratory experiments to study the metabolic models of specific lipid metabolites.

Sample Requirement

  • Plant tissue >2 g

*The experimental samples will not be returned, please back them up by yourself. Before sampling, it is necessary to set up the control group and the experimental group, and each group is suggested to repeat more than 3 times.

*Quick-frozen preservation with liquid nitrogen can minimize the leakage time of plant samples at room temperature.

*There is no restriction on plant varieties. For varieties with special requirements or rare varieties, please contact our staff for more information.
