Pollen contains a range of carotenoids such as alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, gamma-carotene, delta-carotene, neo-beta-carotene, hydroxy-alpha-carotene and phloretin. Vitamins are trace amounts of low molecular organic compounds essential for maintaining life activities. Many vitamins are involved in forming coenzymes, the composition of special proteins, or as hormone precursors. Therefore, many diseases are associated with insufficient levels of vitamins. • Fresh flowers, >5g;
• Pollen from fresh flowers or dried pollen from different families, >1g.

*Quick freeze storage with liquid nitrogen minimises leakage time of plant samples at room temperature.

*Experimental samples are non-returnable, please make your backups. Control and experimental groups need to be set up prior to sampling, and it is recommended to have more than 3 replicates per group.

*No restrictions are placed on plant species. For species with special requirements or rare species, please contact our staff for more information.

HPLC-MS has a strong separation capacity and low detection limits and can simultaneously achieve efficient characterization and quantification of vitamins in pollen.
