It triggers a series of clinical symptoms, mainly allergic conjunctivitis, rhinitis, and asthma. The symptoms are distinctly temporal and regional in nature and are susceptible to certain meteorological factors. The allergenic components of pollen are mainly proteins. 1. Sample Requirements

Fresh venous blood or serum to be tested, >1 mL.

*Try to use fresh specimens, which can be refrigerated at 2-8°C for 48 hours or frozen at -20°C for 4 weeks (samples should be protected from light).

*Avoid repeated freezing and thawing of specimens (more than 3 times).

*Avoid using haemolysed, cloudy, or lipid specimens.

*Maintain 2-8°C or freeze in transport.

*Avoid adding anticoagulants or protective or preservative agents to the specimen, as this may affect the test results.

*The experimental samples will not be returned; please back them up by yourself.

The pollen allergy lgE test results include analysis of total IgE and specific lgE results.
