Detection of Physical Characteristics of Seeds

In addition to germination, the purity test is one of the most used test contents for seeds. Through the determination of the physical purity of seeds, Lifeasible can determine the physical composition of seed batches through the detailed and accurate separation of a small number of representative working samples. We usually divide the sample into four components, including pure seeds, other crop seeds, weed seeds, and inert substances, to determine the weight percentage of each ingredient. Besides, Lifeasible can also determine the content and characteristics of some specific components in the sample through the detection of seed components.

Detection of Physical Characteristics of Seed

What We Offer

Category ID Name
Seed detection
(physical purity)
1 Seed physical purity testing
2 Determination of pure seeds, seeds of other crops, weed seeds, and inert matters
3 Determination of crude fat content in seeds
4 Statistics of seed hardness and integrity
5 Seed quality evaluation (for reference only)
Sample Requirement

Dry samples, > 100 g
Fresh samples, > 150 g
(If necessary, we can provide sample drying treatment for free.)

*The experimental samples will not be returned, please back them up by yourself. Before sampling, it is necessary to set up the control group and the experimental group, and each group is suggested to repeat more than 3 times.
*Quick-frozen preservation with liquid nitrogen can minimize the leakage time of plant samples at room temperature.
*There is no restriction on plant varieties. For varieties with special requirements or rare varieties, please contact our staff for more information.

*The testing project is constantly updated, please contact our staff by email for more up-to-date and relevant information.

After receiving the order, we will carry out your project as soon as possible and at the end of the project, we will provide a detailed technical report, including relevant experimental steps, relevant parameters of the experiment, original pictures, original data, and accurate and reliable experiment results.
