Diseases of plants can seriously affect the development of planting and breeding industries, especially in agricultural and cash crops. Plant tissue culture technology has been widely used in the study of plant resistance to bacterial and viral diseases, and plant disease resistance is accurately expressed in tissue culture. Lifeasible has established a tissue culture system to study the expression of plant disease resistance and has a mature control platform for the selection of tissue culture type, medium composition, temperature, light, and other environmental influences, to strictly control the influencing factors to obtain the most accurate results.

What We Offer

• Direct inoculation of pathogens on the healing tissue

The healing tissue of the plant is first cultured and a small amount of live pathogen is inoculated directly onto the healing tissue. The pathogen and the healing tissue are grown simultaneously, and the depth and expansion of the fungal hyphae colonizing the healing tissue are used as an indicator of different disease resistance.

• Dual culture of pathogen and healing tissue

The healing tissue and the pathogen were cultured sides by side. The rate of expansion of mycelium into the healing tissue and the rate of infestation of the healing tissue were used as indicators of disease resistance.

• Determination of healing tissue resistance to pathogenic mycotoxins
• Suspension cells, cell populations, and protoplasts with pathogens and toxins in dual culture

Sample Requirement

• Botanical material >15 g

*The experimental samples will not be returned, please back them up by yourself. Before sampling, it is necessary to set up the control group and the experimental group, and each group is suggested to repeat more than 3 times.

*Quick-frozen preservation with liquid nitrogen can minimize the leakage time of plant samples at room temperature.

*There is no restriction on plant varieties. For varieties with special requirements or rare varieties, please contact our staff for more information.
