Analysis of Plant lncRNA in Immune Perception Processes
In natural ecosystems, most plants are resistant to pathogens. To successfully respond to and defend against biotic threats, plants have evolved highly complex pathogen defense systems, or surveillance networks, which function in a manner like the innate immune systems of humans.
Lifeasible provides analysis services for plant lncRNA in the immune perception processes to help our customers worldwide in plant science research. Our platform is equipped with cutting-edge facilities and professional experts to support research. Here, we provide various services according to customers' demands.
Plant lncRNA in PRR-Recognized Immunogenic Signals
- In plants, pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) described to date are all membrane-associated receptor-like kinases or receptor-like proteins. They can perceive immunogenic signals from microbes/insects or host-derived molecular patterns.
- We provide analysis service for the role of plant lncRNA in PRR-recognized immunogenic signals. The expression levels of some lncRNAs are significantly altered after treatment with immunogenic signals, such as bacterial flagellin, bacterial elongation factor-Tu, and fungal chitin.
Plant lncRNA in NLR-Recognized Immunogenic Signals
- Nucleotide-binding domain leucine-rich repeat (NLR) proteins play a central role in the innate immune systems of plants. In plants, NLR proteins function as intracellular receptors that detect pathogen effector proteins directly, or indirectly by recognizing effector-induced modifications to other host proteins.
- We provide analysis services for the role of plant lncRNA in NLR-recognized immunogenic signals. LncRNAs have also been shown to be differentially expressed, corresponding to the activation of NLRs. Some of these lncRNAs modulate the expression of NLR genes through their interactions with miRNAs that target NLR genes. On the other hand, lncRNAs appear to regulate plant immunity by acting as decoys of sRNAs or sRNA precursors to mediate the expression of resistance genes.
