Plant Glycomics Analysis

Sugars are the main carbon source in living organisms, a key factor reflecting the energy state of plants, and the main product of photosynthesis, which can provide energy for living organisms and is also one of the influencing factors of circadian rhythm changes in plants, playing an important role in the growth and development of plants. Sugars, also known as carbohydrates, are key determinants of plant yield, as they constitute 90% of plant biomass, and they can be involved in plant response to abiotic stresses by affecting the vesicular osmotic potential. In addition, sugars can also act as signaling molecules that link up with hormones, nitrogen, and other signals to form networks that regulate plant growth and development and gene expression through complex signal transduction mechanisms.

What We Offer

Lifeasible provides plant glycomics services to customers worldwide based on its established metabolomics platform, including the determination and analysis of glycan metabolites, characterization of differential metabolites, and qualitative, quantitative, and semi-quantitative determination of glycan components. In addition, we can additionally analyze and determine the composition of glyoxylates in plant polysaccharides and monosaccharides in polysaccharides, the molecular weight distribution of polysaccharides, glucose, total sugars, reducing sugars, fructose, galactose, lactose, maltose, sucrose, ribose, mannose, rhamnose, xylose, starch, neutral sugars, pentose, soluble sugars, and other components. The technical methods include HPLC-DAD、HPLC-RID、HPLC/LC-MS、GC-MS、IR、UVTGA、XRD、LC-MS、NMR, paper chromatography, and thin-layer chromatography, gas chromatography, electrophoresis analysis, etc.

We Do Better

Lifeasible aims to provide the most professional and efficient services for the analysis of plant sugar metabolism, which can be applied to the study of sugar metabolism regulatory pathways, drug inhibitors, plant fruit quality analysis, plant immune regulation and abiotic stress, plant growth, and development regulation and sugar bioactivity analysis. Our standard experimental procedures and strict management system are designed to provide our clients with the highest quality services.
