| Features | This kit is not suitable for protein extraction from root/tuber samples with high starch content, such as potato and taro. For samples with high starch content, please use other kits. The unique formula contained in this kit can effectively dissolve cell membrane components and release soluble proteins. This kit contains a mixture of protease inhibitors that prevents protein degradation by proteases, providing for the extraction of high purity proteins. The proteins extracted in this kit are active proteins with natural protein conformation and have a wide range of downstream applications. The ability of the extract to lyse the cells is mild, and the lysis time needs to be optimized according to the actual sample. This kit does not contain EDTA and is compatible with downstream applications such as metal chelation chromatography. |
