Product Description
D-Mannose is a monosaccharide with a structure similar to that of glucose. It occurs naturally in fruits such as cranberries, apples, and peaches, as well as in birch sap. The human liver cannot metabolize it into glucose, and its regulation does not depend on insulin. After ingestion, most D-Mannose is excreted through the kidneys in urine and does not significantly affect blood sugar levels. This substance is generally safe and suitable for short-term use by most people.
Product Function
Supports urinary tract health. D-mannose binds to adhesion factors on the surface of pathogenic bacteria (such as E. coli) in the urethra, preventing them from adhering to the urethral mucosa and thereby reducing the risk of urinary tract discomfort.
Does not affect blood sugar stability. Consuming D-mannose does not cause a significant rise in blood sugar levels, making it ideal for people who need to manage their blood sugar.
Helps improve skin condition. D-mannose penetrates the skin’s stratum corneum to form a moisturizing barrier, thereby reducing water loss.
Gently regulates intestinal function. Some unabsorbed D-mannose enters the intestines, promoting peristalsis and inhibiting the overgrowth of harmful bacteria, thereby supporting intestinal health.
