Detection Principle
Formaldehyde dehydrogenase catalyzes the production of NADH from formaldehyde and NAD+, and its absorbance value increases at 340 nm. The activity of formaldehyde dehydrogenase can be calculated by measuring the change in absorbance value at 340 nm.
