Micro Plant Invertase Activity Assay Kit
Cat# | PBK-027 |
Specification | 100T/48S |
Unit | Box |
Description | Sucrase (EC 3.2.1.26) is one of the key enzymes in the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, capable of hydrolyzing sucrose into the corresponding monosaccharides for absorption by the body. |
Test Method | Spectrophotometer/Microplate Reader |
Storage Conditions | 2-8℃ |
Shelf Life | 6 months |
Detection Principle | This kit uses the 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid method to determine the amount of reducing sugars catalyzed by sucrase, from which the rate of sucrase hydrolysis can be derived. The principle is that 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid is reduced to brownish-red amino compounds by co-heating with reducing sugar, and the amount of reducing sugar is directly proportional to the color depth of the reaction solution within a certain range. |
