Description
Sucrase (EC 3.2.1.26) is one of the key enzymes in the digestion and absorption of carbohydrates, capable of hydrolyzing sucrose into the corresponding monosaccharides for absorption by the body.
Test Method
Spectrophotometer/Microplate Reader
Storage Conditions
2-8℃
Shelf Life

Detection Principle
This kit uses the 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid method to determine the amount of reducing sugars catalyzed by sucrase, from which the rate of sucrase hydrolysis can be derived. The principle is that 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid is reduced to brownish-red amino compounds by co-heating with reducing sugar, and the amount of reducing sugar is directly proportional to the color depth of the reaction solution within a certain range.
