Plant Tissue ROS Detection Kit (DAB Method)
Cat# | PSR-013 |
Specification | 3*100 mL |
Unit | Box |
Description | Plant tissues produce a variety of reactive oxygen species (ROS) under stressful environmental conditions, and ROS are very reactive and extremely unstable, so the detection of ROS is usually dependent on their end products. H2O2 is a type of reactive oxygen species, and catalyzed by catalase, H2O2 can react rapidly with DAB (3,3-diaminobenzidine tetrahydrochloride) to form brownish-red compounds, thus localizing tissue H2O2. |
Storage Conditions | Store at 2-8℃, protected from light. |
Shelf Life | 12 months |
Applications | Used for H2O2 staining in living plant tissues. It is generally used for the overall staining of tender root tips, leaves, etc. After staining, the areas with H2O2 aggregates are brown to dark brown. |
